ABOUT

Steve Walker lives in Logan, Utah and works as a small-time house remodeler and general fixerupper. He’s always loved the outdoors and the many activities therein have kept him safely out of anything that might be regarded as a real career. The bike he’s on is a remnant of a time in his life he was building bicycle frames and was built in the early 1980s. The tubing’s Columbus SLX and many of the components vintage “Campy” that work as well today as they did when new and, for all practical purposes, as well as anything 21st century technology has brought to the world of cycling. His paniers are 3rd generation “homemade” and from a design that has changed very little from the original ones made over 30 years ago. He’s cycled many miles in many countries in his life but never this far or for this long.
